Community Profile

Holiday Island is a retirement community located in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Bordered to the north by Table Rock Lake, Holiday Island boasts 5,000 home sites someplace with central water and sewer. The current population of Holiday Island is 2,500.

Holiday Island has three, well situated, fire stations, a Fire Chief, and two full-time firefighters/EMTs with a volunteer crew of twenty-five firefighters/emergency medical care personnel. The District contracts with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office to provide year-round security.
